Encounters with Rantwick, episode Eighteen: Cycle Satan and Devil Dog

You know, most commutes are pleasant, but boring. I delete most of my commuting videos from my camera because they are just plain uninteresting. Ever since I've mounted my very obvious top 'o the helmet cam, they have become even more so because very few cars do crummy things. That's cool with me!

Once in a long while, however, something downright spooky and upsetting and behaviour changing occurs. This, as you may have guessed, is one of those occasions. Good, Evil, Cars, imminent Death, screeching brakes, HellHounds... brace yourself:

Yer Pal,

The sound effects make the video. By the way, did you know it is hard to run over those little barky dogs on a bike. They are much more clever than squirrels. They are, however, flummoxed if you stop and glare at them. Don't ask how I know this, but perhaps it is connected to the appearance of Devil Dog.

Thank you for this video. It has brightened my up-til-now crummy and depressing day.

Also, thanks for not being dead.

Steve - Yes, I had great fun with the sounds on this one. I now own one of those barky little dogs. Funny, never thought I would. I agree, glare=flummox. I would never ever look into eyes of Devil Dog though. No way.

Kenny - I hope your day improves and that it is the transient kind of crummy and depressing rather than one of those big life (or death) event types of things.

secondhand bicycles in uk - I've deleted an identical comment of yours before. I wanted my readers to see that I'm not being a censor, but I do not accept meaningless comments with links to your business.

I'm going to contact your store; I don't know if you're the owner or what, but cut it out please.
