And Now, Some News: I've Come Through My Brain Surgery Quite Well!

Hey all. I won't be doing a real post for a while because my brain surgery has happened (on Nov 16) and appears to have been very successful! Yay!

That said, I'm weak as a kitten and I'm not allowed to lift anything heavier than a large feather.

My recovery is likely to take at least a couple months and I probably won't be posting much in that time. I just didn't want any of my few remaining regulars to worry I was dead!

I will update again when, say, I ride again for the first time or something like that.

As always thanks for everyone's good vibes and kind hopes!

Yer Pal,

Rest up. Now's your time to read the classics and wait out the winter. Enjoy time with family. Good vibes!

I am extremely pleased to hear about the health of your brain. Your readers have enjoyed its work and look forward to more. Cheers for Canadian health care!

While recovering you could work on some jokes. Like 'I need another ___ like I need another hole in my head. Oh wait I have one!' Or 'Where did that thought come from, did out just fall out of your head? Oops, didn't mean it like that!'
Hope your recovery goes well.. Soon you'll be lifting two feathers.

Thanks all, things continue to go well. +1 on Cafiend's cheers and thank you Richard: I had started conceiving of awesome fake stories to explain the scar but the new joke possibilities are indeed worth mulling over!

Now we understand the Rantwick logo better. My wife, a nurse, refers to the tongue sticking out in patients as "the Q sign." It is what happens after they make "the O sign." It's good to hear the undertaker didn't have to shut you up! As for Canadian health care, you can count yourself fortunate that our Texas Canadian Senator (Ted Cruz), moved south instead of staying to cut your own health system.
