Are You #%^&1n' Kiddin' Me #1

I am starting yet another series, this one aimed at stuff I see on TV that I simply cannot accept. This time it is an offering that prevents us from contacting the germs on our soap. Stuff like this just makes me want to scream.

Are we really so frightened of germs that we must kill the ones on our soap pumps, the ones that only have seconds to live anyway because we are washing our hands with antibacterial soap? I pity the fearful people who are willing to buy this kind of thing. If you are one of them, sorry, but Are You #%^&1n' Kiddin' Me? I pity you too.

Hopefully Still Yer Pal,

Woah, move over Dr Scholl's Skin Tag Remover, I have a new coveted product!

That makes no sense. As soon as you get done washing your hands the critters floating in the air, falling from your scalp, flaking off of your clothing, etc. will immediately re-colonize your hands. What about the sink faucet - I bet there are germs there too.

Seriously, how did we ever evolve as a species? For the last 2.5 million years we didn't need this stuff. Why now?

Alexwarrior - Ewww, I know that one. I always comment that the woman's skin tag is floating around in that pool they're in at the end of the commercial...

Big Oak - I know, right? Garg!

OMG, I so hear you.

This may be even more infuriating than the new 'hand towels' that one of the big paper towel manufacturers now makes so you never have to dry your freshly-washed hands on the same towel more than once.

I'm guessing none of the people who buy this stuff grasp that whole thing where, like our muscles, our immune systems grow stronger only if we use them.

I offer my :::facepalm::: on behalf of the sensible portion of the human race.

Lol about the skin tag floating in the pool... I'm so saying that next time I see that commercial and someone is in the room

all they end up doing is killing off the good bacteria and are left with only bad stuff.

Wait. What kills the germs that are on the product that kills the germs on the soap???? This has me really concerned!
